Expa vs job boards

Expa vs posting on a job board

A job board waits for people to apply to you. Expa goes and contacts the people who match your role.

Who you hear from

Post a job and you hear from the people who found it and chose to apply. That tends to mean candidates who are out of work or applying everywhere. The best people are often not applying at all.

Expa works the other way around. It contacts the people who match your role, including the ones who are employed and not looking, and starts the conversation on your behalf.

What happens after a candidate shows interest

Expa replies to candidates within minutes, at any hour, including nights and weekends, so a candidate who reads your message at 9pm on a Sunday gets an answer at 9pm on a Sunday. It answers their questions and hands you the people who are interested and qualified.

Control and cost

You see every candidate on the shortlist before anything is sent, and nothing goes out until you launch it. Anyone you remove is not contacted, and you can put them back if you change your mind.

Expa costs $100 a month, which includes 100 managed candidate outreach. Beyond that you can buy more, with a 50-credit minimum.

Describing a role, running the search and reviewing your shortlist are free. You pay when you approve candidates.

Using both

The two are not exclusive. A posting reaches people who are already looking. Expa reaches the people who are not. Expa is not a job board, and it does not need a posting to start.
